Barb
Sorensen began singing, writing and performing
music as a child.
Her first instrument was a harmonica from her parents in preschool. She
later went on to pick up the recorder, the oboe, the saxophone, the piano
and the guitar. Besides the concert and symphonic experience, she has also
played with pop, rock and blues and jazz bands. After graduating from college
with a degree in Chemistry and German and a minor in Music, she decided
to pursue her first love...Music. Today she is an internationally touring performer
and singer, as well as the founder of her own growing music/video production
company/independent record label
Emerald City Music Productions, Inc..
In her spare time she also produces a show on the local access channel
on AT&T Broadband .
The name of the show is MUSE and it is about arts, artists and the creative
process.
