ABOUT MUSE Live
MUSE Live! is the monthly 1 hour live audience - interactive version of the popular and beloved public access television show MUSE.
MUSE is the monthly 1/2 hour public access television show about original arts, artists, and the creative process.
MUSE aired on the public access television channel 19 (Continental Cablevision, Delphi, Comcast) between 1996 and 2004 (7 years) in over 250 suburbs surrounding Chicago, and once a month in Los Angeles on Delphi public access television.
MUSE was taken off the air at the end of 2004 for restructuring with the new digital age
MUSE Live! began in September 2017 as a way to include a live audience during the taping of the show for television. It is also meant to be a place where community can gather in a family friendly venue and enjoy an interactive type monthly show that encourages creativity.
MUSE/MUSE Live! feature 4 fresh original acts per episode, one of which is always a music act. The show is part showcase and part interview, and presents only original works of art, no copies no cover tunes.
The show is open to all artists, in all mediums, and at all levels of accomplishment and caliber. The only requirement is that the works be all original and their own.
MUSE and MUSE Live! are founded by executive producer Barbara Kronau-Sorensen in August 1996. Both shows are still owned, produced, hosted, and partially edited by Barb Sorensen.
Join us every month, on the second Thursday, at 7:00 pm for the newest episode live at the Kaffeestube in Schaumburg, IL.
